The fixed wheel drive in simple terms, means that when the pedals rotate, the drive wheel rotates and vice versa. This creates added momentum that assists with pedaling, which is beneficial to children with low muscle tone and strength. Its very popular and extremely robust, stable and very safe to use on Irish pathways.
Options to fit customized accessories to support and aid your child, include hip and or upper body thoracic supports, foot sandals with straps, ankle-foot orthoses, lap and chest straps, a rear steering pole, and comfort handlebars.
The key datum points on the REHA adapted Tricycle are critical and give the rider the ability to maintain a good posture and an efficient pedaling action.
