The DELTA (Levatrain) Standing frame can be used by people with a wide range of conditions. Adolescent and Adults with spinal or head injuries, Multiple Sclerosis, and Motor Neurone Disease all have the potential to stand using this piece of equipment.

The Delta Standing Frame (previously known as Quest 88 Delta Standing Frame) has an integrated electric belt system and makes it easier to stand up while providing a stable support. The trapezoidal base frame and the swiveling rear wheels also allow the standing device to be used by patients with wider wheelchairs. A cost-effective option, the Delta can be easily transported between patients, ideal for care homes and rehabilitation facilities.

The lifting mechanism features a motorized belt adjustment system that is capable of lifting up to 120kg (19 stone). The mechanism will allow those with moderate trunk control to raise themselves from sitting to standing and those with limited trunk control to be guided into standing with attendant assistance.

ASTRIDE is a modern static standing frame with an abduction function. Its improved and lighter version allows for a wide range of adjustments within the feet, knees, and torso area, enabling fully safe and proper positioning of the user’s body in a standing position.

The new version of ASTRIDE features easy-to-fasten belts: chest and hip belts, with independent adjustments in all planes within the pelvic and torso area, providing complete control over hip positioning. This function is particularly helpful in cases of concurrent postural abnormalities.

Individually tailored foot stabilizers and contoured footrests with lateral supports ensure a stable positioning of the lower limbs. Rotating kneepads within the knee joint area alleviate pressure on the patella, stabilizing and maintaining correct leg positioning during upright standing.

A stable base equipped whit wheels with independent brakes allows easy transfer of the standing frame between rooms. The smooth height adjustment of the standing frame and table, aided by a gas spring mechanism, facilitates therapy and everyday activities such as learning, playing, or having meals.

Size 1:  Child’s full Height 50 to 70cm       Age :  8 months to 2 years

Therapeutic Set Up:

• Size 1 – Baby 8 months with head control can stand for early upright standing using rigid belt
• Size 1 – Infant 12 months PLUS  – enables upright standing to work on strength for standing and upright mobility.

Stander gives stable foot posture, feet are aligned in sagittal plane, feet horizontal and heel and forefoot in contact with footplate

Shank ( tibia and fibula) to vertical angle of 12 degrees positioning the knee supports at this angle with footwear or with the use of AFOs.

Thigh is able to move from incline to vertical to recline ( see video) using the flexible belt

Trunk is able to remain vertical and can translate forward and backwards as much as is required slightly opening the chest straps at front and at the back to allow the movement to happen but not fully open for safety.

Centre of mass remains within the base of support of stander.

Head , trunk and pelvis are directly over the foot

The stander prevents knee flexion stiffness developing  which can drive hip flexor stiffness /Contractures  and promote good pelvic position in standing

Size 2 – 2 years to 4 years

• Set stander for stable standing.
• Foot flat , ankle is 10 degrees dorsiflexion, shank goes to 10 degrees incline, knee is 10 degrees flexion, placing the knee over the middle of the foot , thigh is vertical and hip is 10 degrees flexion, head trunk pelvis is directly over the foot.
